| Message | even more ridiculous than our own. The suppression of basic freedoms are getting out of hand. There is no reason why someone watching a race should be arrested. That's absolute crap. I understand there are laws for traffic, but that's like arresting someone standing at the side of the road watching another person break into a house and therefore they are an accomplice. Makes no sense. As I understand it from a friend in Canada, their government has started to enforce new laws that are basically trying to rid Canada of the desire to modify cars. They believe that teen deaths and deaths in general will be greatly lowered if they take the fun out of modified street cars. I saw a video of some kids that were caught just like these, and their cars were not only impounded but crushed on live television as a message to all street racers that "this is what will happen when we catch you". Just because a small* law is broken does not give any government or police agency the right to destroy your property, in my opinion. *small law as compared to murder, rape, etc.
